To become a psychologist  in  Pakistan Army, you must meet certain educational, physical and selection criteria. The general requirements are: 
 Education Requirements: 
1. Education:
 Candidates must have at least a Master's degree. Or an  equivalent degree in Psychology from a recognized university.
  2. Minimum Score: 
Candidates usually need at least 60% of  their education. 
 Age Requirements:
 Age limits are usually between 23 and 28 years. However, this may vary, so we recommend checking the latest job postings. 
Physical Requirements: 
Height: 
Minimum height is often 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm) for men and 5 feet (152.4 cm) for women. 
 Weight: 
Weight should be as per the Body Mass Index (BMI) standards set by the Pakistan Army. 
 Selection Process: 
1. Initial Registration:
 Candidates are required to register online through the official Pakistan Army recruitment website or through the Army Selection and Recruitment Centre (AS&RC). 
2. Initial Test:
 This involves a written/intelligence test usually conducted at the AS&RC. 
3. Medical Examination:
 Candidates who pass the initial test will be taken for a preliminary medical examination.
 4. Interview: 
Successful candidates will be interviewed by a Selection Committee. 
5. ISSB Test: 
Selected candidates will be sent to the Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB) where they will be subjected to psychological tests, group assignments, interviews and field exercises. 
6. Final Medical Examination:
 Candidates who pass the ISSB test will be subjected to a Final Medical Examination at a designated military hospital. 
7. Final Selection: 
The successful candidates will be final selected  on the basis of overall performance and accepted for training.
Education: 
 The selected Psychologist Officers will undergo training at  Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) or any other designated military training institute. 
 Key Competencies: 
Excellent analytical and communication skills. Ability of work under pressure and demanding Society. A strong understanding of psychology theory and practice.   Empathy and high ethical standards.
