 Entry into Grade 8: 
Candidates should be between 12 and 14 years of age as on 1 April  of the year of entry.  Candidates should have completed Grade 7 or be studying in Grade 8.  
Entry into F.Sc Class 1 (Engineering Preparatory Group):
 Candidates should be between 15 and 17 years of age as on 15 August.  Candidates should have completed Grade 10 in Science Group with at least 80% marks. 
Admission to WAPDA Cadet College:
 Entrance Examination:
 Candidates  in grades 7, 8 and 10 will have the opportunity to apply for the entrance examination. This examination will allow them to enter grades 8 and 11 (Pre-Engg.) if they meet the age and education requirements mentioned above. 
Entrance Examination Subjects:
 The subjects you will be taking will depend on the class you wish to take. The subjects for each class are as follows: 
Entrance Examination for Grade 8: 
  • English and
  •  Urdu (including questions from Islamiyat). 
  • Mathematics.  
The curriculum and books for grade 7 prescribed by the Federal Board will be applicable. 
Science Entrance Examination Part 1 Classes (Engineering Preparatory Group):

  Notices for the entrance exam, medical examination, interview and other related details are usually published in  national newspapers in the months of July, August and September for grade 8 admission  and in March and April for grade F admission. Part 1 classes.

 Rs 20,000/- 
Annual Maintenance: 
Rs 17,000/-
 Security:
 Rs 15,000/- 
Equipment Fund:
 Rs 60,000/-

Term Fees Grades (Grades 8, 9, 10) Term fees are applicable during the academic year from grades 8 to 10. These fees are divided into three sections, each covering a specific period of time. The details of the term fees are as follows:

 WAPDA Cadet College Fee Regulations:

Fee determination:
 The fees charged to cadets are approved by the  BOG (Board of Governors) of the college and are communicated to  both the school and college departments on a regular basis.
Non-refundable payments:
 Fees and other monies (including admission fees, annual maintenance fees, security, facility fees etc.) once paid are non-refundable. Furthermore, parents will not be provided with any evidence of how these funds have been spent. Voluntary withdrawal: If a cadet decides to withdraw from the college mid-term or at the request of his/her parents, no fees or monies will be refunded. This also applies to  security fees. 
Withdrawal or expulsion: 
If a cadet is withdrawn or expelled  from the college by the College Disciplinary Committee, the deposit and any remaining fees or monies will be refunded. 
Absent Without  Leave (AWOL) or Unlawfully Overstayed (OSL): 
If a cadet fails to enrol in the college after being absent without  leave or unlawfully overstayed and subsequently applies for deregistration, the parent or guardian will have to pay the fee for the total number of months during which the cadet was unsupervised during that term. 
Medically Unfit:
 A fee is payable if the  cadet is found medically unfit on reporting to the college from WAPDA Tarbela Hospital.
