The criteria for joining  Pakistan Army Medical Corps usually includes education, age, nationality, physical and mental health, and some requirements related to the selection process. The army medical crops of criteria are  given below: 

 1. Educational Qualification:- 

MBBS/BDS:

 Candidates should have an MBBS or BDS degree from a recognized medical institution. 

Specialization: 

Applicants for Specialist positions should have a relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g. FCPS, FRCS, MRCP) from a recognized institute. 

Homework:

 Usually, one is required to complete a one-year homework (internship). 

2. Age Limit:

General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO):

 Generally, the age limit is  28 to 30 years. 

Specialist:

 Depending on the specialization and additional qualifications, the age limit may vary from 32 to 34 years. 

Dentist: 

Generally, the age limit is  similar to that of GDMO. 

3. Nationality:

 Candidates must be nationals of Pakistan or Azad Kashmir/Gilgit Baltistan. Dual nationals must renounce their foreign citizenship to join the military. 

 4. Marital Status:

Married and unmarried applicants are welcome. 

5. Physical Requirements:

Height: 

Minimum height is typically 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm) for men and 5 feet (152.4 cm) for women. 

Weight:

 Weight must be in proportion to height and meet Army medical standards.  

Vision: 

Candidates must have vision of 6/6  in one eye and 6/9 in the other eye or be able to correct their vision with glasses. 

6. Medical Qualifications:

 Candidates must pass a comprehensive medical examination  by the Army Medical Board to ensure they are physically and mentally healthy.  

7. Selection Process:

Initial Registration:

 Candidates are required to register online through the official Pakistan Army website or through the Army Selection and Recruitment Centre (AS&RC). 

Written/Intelligence Tests:

 These tests assess the candidate's general knowledge, intelligence and academic ability. 

Medical Examination:

 These are conducted at the AS&RC to determine medical .
